LivingWell Pregnancy Centers in Orange is offering counselor training beginning Monday, June 1, 2015 from 9am to 12:30pm running for six consecutive weeks. The cost is $50, however, limited scholarships are available. Learn effective communication skills you can use in everyday life. The Harbor Church Children’s Ministry Kid’s Camp

The Harbor Church Children’s Ministry Kid’s Camp…….. July 6-9 2015

Our annual Kid's Camp will be held July 6-9th is for kid's 7-12 (this is an overnight camp). This year’s Kid’s Camp is centered around the battle for our MIND; the one part of our body that is always under attack. In this generation we are constantly battling right and wrong. During our one week training course, you develop the skills necessary to fight the everyday battle for your attention. You will join forces with your fellow soldiers and take back the territory the enemy has advanced on. This week won’t be all work, we have some creative ways for you to relaxe your mind after a full day of training…. 24 ft rock climbing wall, build stuff,  inflatable Slip ‘N Slide & obstacle course ,get a makeover, shoota BB Gun/Bow and Arrow, visit a science lab,  act , cook,  play air hockey and pinball, eat great food, including free snacks!  And we can’t forget our one of a kind scavenger hunt.

 Each camper receives a matching T-shirt, journal, and a music CD from camp, plus cabin meals, snack bar, access to a 24ft tall rock wall, insurance for all activities, counselor supervision and a registered nurse. All this for the incredible price of $150 (Early registration until June 30th.) Cost after 06/30 $160. You can sign-up by filling out the registration form available in the church office. You can reserve your space with a $50.00 deposit (checks made out to The Harbor Church).

Summer Organ Concerts to Feature World Class Organists


Westwood United Methodist Church announces it’s annual Summer Organ Concert series with three free performances – each on Sundays at 3pm on July 19th, August 2nd, and August 16th. “There is something incredibly powerful about hearing a unique instrument played with both skill and passion,” said Rev. Run 2 Rescue ( presents Ignite the Night ( Awe, Art, Awareness and Action! A one night event that uses art, music, drama and videos to shine a light on the realities of the sex-trafficking industry. Church In The Park Flyer

The Love Group was made to speak to the hearts and minds on this generation and remind them of their identity in Christ. So on August 15, 2015, we will be having our second annual church in the park picnic which will be held at the Monrovia Library Park. This event will consist of free food, games and prizes for the little ones and for the older folks, live music from churches and Christian groups, and not only that, but we will also be giving out free backpacks and school supplies to the kids of the community. And because encouragement for our generation is vital and important to this ministry, I will also be giving an awesome message entitled "Take A Load Off" coming from 1Peter 5:7 "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." This will be a huge event and we are expecting anywhere from 100-200 people so please be sure to spread the word as well as lend a helping hand the best way you know how!
