Know the Truth Sunder Summer Night Sessions: Islam Unveiled

Islam Unveiled

SUNDAY SUMMER
NIGHT SESSIONS

Christianity and Islam are the two largest religions in the world with estimated followers of 2 billion and 1.3 billion respectively. Both share with Judaism a belief in one God who created the world. Both believe in Jesus. This is where the similarities radically end. The God and Jesus of Islam are not the same God and Jesus of Christianity. Over the past 25 years Islam has significantly expanded its influence in Europe and Britain and is now rapidly expanding throughout the United States. As Christians we are called to defend our faith and witness to the lost. This Summer Series is designed to educate and equip us to introduce followers of Islam to salvation through Jesus Christ.

SCHEDULE

Join us at Kindred Community Church on the following evenings for worship, a message on Islam, and a Q&A hosted by Pastor Philip De Courcy. Dessert, coffee and fellowship on the patio afterwards.

Church In The Park Flyer

The Love Group was made to speak to the hearts and minds on this generation and remind them of their identity in Christ. So on August 15, 2015, we will be having our second annual church in the park picnic which will be held at the Monrovia Library Park. This event will consist of free food, games and prizes for the little ones and for the older folks, live music from churches and Christian groups, and not only that, but we will also be giving out free backpacks and school supplies to the kids of the community. And because encouragement for our generation is vital and important to this ministry, I will also be giving an awesome message entitled "Take A Load Off" coming from 1Peter 5:7 "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." This will be a huge event and we are expecting anywhere from 100-200 people so please be sure to spread the word as well as lend a helping hand the best way you know how!
