ABC Sober Living, a rehabilitation facility for women recovering from addiction was hit with a lawsuit from six women who claim sexual harassment while staying or working at the center.

The women say that former owner and director of ABC Sober Living David Powers sexually harassed them through sexual comments and inappropriate touch reports The Blaze.

Jaycee Peacock is one of the plaintiffs in the case who has identified herself. Peacock said, “As soon as I arrived, David began making inappropriate comments to me. Soon enough, he was slapping my butt and walking into the room when I was naked.”

Powers denied all allegations, saying that the program has continued for 17 years without any other accusations of this kind.

The facility is linked to the Rock Church of San Diego, though the church has distanced themselves from the allegations.

“While these accusations are very concerning, none of the alleged misconduct took place on property owned or managed by the Rock Church or was committed by anyone under the authority and control of the Rock Church,” said a statement.

The church will not refer any members to to ABC Sober Living until the investigation is complete.
