Pastor Manny Johnson - Megapraise Ministries Manuel Johnson was raised in a family of eight. He was brought up with Christian beliefs, and was taught to pray at a very young age. He had a powerful conversion at the age of 23. The Lord has gifted him in the culinary industry and blessed him to have moved up the corporate ladder. He was also active in real estate investment. God, however, had a different plan for his future. Manuel was called to preach the gospel full time. In spite of his degrees and established careers in the culinary and real estate fields, he answered the call to preach. He was licensed, trained and ordained in ministry by True Vine Miracle Temple, Spirit and Truth Communication Network, and Bridge of Deliverance International. Pastor Manuel has a Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Theology. Ministry and God has opened doors for him to preach the gospel with signs and wonders both in and outside of the United States. Josh Thompson - Legacy City Church Pastor Josh Thompson was born and raised in Riverside, California. He grew up in a home that worshipped Jesus but Josh had never fully committed his life to the Lord. Years later during high school, he began attending a church not far from his home. One day while listening to a preacher he heard Jesus call to follow Him forever and he was never the same. Not long after his conversion, during his lunch break Josh walked across the street to hear Pastor Greg Laurie preach. From that day on he knew that Harvest was his church home. Josh began to serve in the Harvest High School Ministry and then in 2008 he began working with Harvest Crusades. Honored to sit under Pastor Greg Laurie for many years he joined his pastoral staff in March 2010. He was given the privilege to preach at Harvest Sunday Nights for 3 years and oversee a satellite campus for a few years. In 2014 the doors opened for Josh to plant a church in the Los Angeles area. Mike Urciuoli - Calvary Chapel Ontario Pastor Mike planted Calvary Chapel Ontario in the city of Ontario for the purpose of reaching out to the community for the glory of Jesus Christ. We have 4 services that meet throughout week, numerous small group bible studies, and we minister to children form infants through to young adults. Calvary Chapel Ontario also reaches out to the community through blood drives, food distribution, and from time to time we give out clothing and free haircuts. Phillip George - Fresh Bread Philip George came from New York to California to study at Fuller Seminary where he obtained his M.Div. After working in commercial banking and investments for a number of years, he was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in 2002 and was called as Calvary's Lead Pastor in 2003. Bill Welsh - Refuge Calvary Chapel Huntington Beach Bill Welsh came to Christ in 1970, and soon after began his journey of ministry work. He served as a worship leader, youth leader and took on various other ministry roles until becoming a pastor in the Coachella valley in 1978. With a heart for missions work and church planting, Bill, his wife Joy and their four children began doing missions trips to Australia in 1987 and eventually moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1991 where they started Calvary Chapel Melbourne. After expired visas sent the family stateside, Bill served on staff at Calvary Chapel Albuquerque for two years before accepting a call to pastor in Huntington Beach, Ca in 1997, where he still serves today. David Hegg - Grace Baptist Church I was raised in a pastor’s family in Spokane, WA. After graduating from Los Angeles Baptist College (Now The Master’s University). I am passionate about God's Word and believe the greatest need in the church today is for pastors to preach the Bible the way it was written. That is, to recognize the beginning place of meaning is determining what the original author intended the original readers to understand from the words he used. When we get their meaning right, we can bring God's inspired truth to our world, relying on the Spirit to use it in transforming ways. Jeff Gill - Calvary Chapel South Bay Pastor Jeff Gill became the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel South Bay (CCSB) in April 12, 2015 after Pastor Steve Mays went home to be with the Lord in October of 2014. Transitioning from Calvary Chapel Running Springs with a weekly attendance of about 500 to CCSB with its 8,000 size congregation was a major step of faith that Pastor Jeff had to undergo. But whomever God calls to His ministry, He will equip and provide.
